He's got Perl 5.8, he's got the latest ImageMagick installable (for 5.8), he's following the directions to install the local ppd from the correct directory, and it's not working. Heres what youll find in the display menu: File contains the options Open, Next, Former, Select, Save, Print, Delete, New, Visual Directory, and Quit.Select picks a specific image file to display, Visual Directory shows all of the files (not just the images) in the current working directory. This means that you'll have to reinstall all modules you installed on 5.6.x (or previous), that is, if you want to use them (and they use libraries ofcourse). The instructions for doing the install are on the imagemagick site here If you are using a tarball (seems you may be) then do a google for your error - there is *plenty* of discussion about it. Then you apply edge (), which takes in a radius argument. Next, you create an edge () function and open up the duckling’s photo. The Image class is your primary method of working with photos in Wand. ![]() The other alternative is to download the zip file from active state, unzip it and then use the command you were trying as you should now have a valid ppd.
